Community Service

The National Service Program recognized by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. worldwide is called: Z.-H.O.P.E.: Zetas Helping Other People Excel. The goal of the program is to provide a positive, holistic leadership approach to every stage of the human life cycle.

Sigma Nu Zeta Chapter is currently working towards fulfilling a workshop from each dimension; Mind, Body, and Spirit. In addition to establishing our Z-H.O.P.E. Projects, Sigma Nu Zeta is working on building relationships within our community through outreach initiatives. We have raised more than $100,000 in cash and goods for charities since our chartering in 2002.

Our core services evolve around signature Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. programs Stork's Nest and our girl's youth empowerment program The Zeta Archonette club, a program for young ladies 14 to 18 years of age.

Sigma Nu Zeta began it's Zeta Archonette club at the Frederick Douglass Academy in Harlem, New York. Currently, the Zeta Archonette club is operating in partnership with the Children's Aid Society- Dunlevy Milbank Center also located in Harlem, NY.
