"Executing Our Vision Today, For Tomorrow's Future"

On Saturday, April 2, 2011, The Five Pearls Foundation in conjunction with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Sigma Nu Zeta Chapter, will present their first annual Scholarship Luncheon at Alhambra Ballroom (2116 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY) at 11am.  Both organizations will honor outstanding leaders in the Manhattan community as well as present scholarships to three college-bound young women who have demonstrated high levels of academic achievement, and social responsibility.

 

The Five Pearls Foundation and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. serve the Harlem community and beyond through such programs as The Storks Nest program for at risk expecting mothers, the Books Across Africa venture and the Well Project, to provide a much needed resources in West Africa. Along with these endeavors, both organizations celebrate and reward the academic and civic achievement of deserving young people with financial assistance from their Scholarship fund, which will be presented at their signature event of the year. The Scholarship Luncheon will attract 300 guests from the business, education, policy and civic community from New York City and beyond. 

 

The President of Zeta Phi Beta, Inc – Sigma Nu Zeta Chapter, Sharon LaDay is excited to represent the sorority in presenting this award, “We look forward to this event especially because we have the opportunity to partner with our Foundation on applauding exemplary youth in our community who face financial obstacles in their journey to College.” 

 

Ticket prices to support this event are:  $65 for adult tickets and $35 for children under the age of 10 years.  Early-bird rate for adults is only $55 and can be purchased until January 15, 2011.
